This is a self leveling sealant that stays pliable even after years of exposure to the elements. It is one of the only sealants that can be used on rubber roofs and is made by the company that supplies those rubber roofs. It also works very well on fiberglass, aluminum or steel roofs.

Our installers say one tube can seal around the feet of up to 3 solar panels. We also use it to seal around and under our roof combiner boxes. So keep that in mind when ordering systems from us.

 

WARNING !!! Beginning with Model year 2011, some manufacturers switched from EPDM rubber roof membranes to a new plastic membrane called Alpha-Ply. DO NOT USE this DiCor Lap Sealant on Alpha-Ply roof membranes! It will react chemically and cause "bubbles" or "blisters" where it was used. These "bubbles" or "blisters" do not affect the water tightness of the roofs and are merely cosmetic.

 Be sure what type of roof membrane is on your RV's roof before using this version of DiCor Lap Sealant.
